Engaging Men in Feminist Peace : A message of appeasement?
Lenalendem Palace in Melong which is a rare human experience WILPF Cameroon engaged the community at Lenale Ndem Palace in her program. A small piece of land transformed into a cultural site and by the force of events into a refuge for Internally Displaced Persons.
WILPF Cameroon continue to visit and support the school created from scratch by the chief #Forjinju.
WILPF Cameroon is already making its modest contribution according to the Chief who belief that these children who grow up with their hearts full of stories and dreams, delicate mistresses, and the leader, this peaceful, this atypical visionary in several respects among the Men Committed to feminist peace, Roll on the end of this conflict which separated so many innocent children from their parents.
What if our words now only served to convey a message of appeasement?
The Fon of Lenale Ndem Palace who has been a leading traditional leader in promoting peace #forjinju has been chosen to share his ideas and vision as one of the emblematic Men Committed to Feminist Peace alongside WILPF Cameroon as an architect of the transformation of the space called Laforêt in Melong, on the nationa roadl number 5 (West Coast) into a rest area, into a cultural site and now by unforseen circumstances or war, into a refuge for People especially the internally displaced from the risk zones of North West South West Regions as a result of the Crisis plaguing the region.
